WHAT'S ABOUT Diabetes Comorbidities and Complications Conference

The Qatar Diabetes Association has always worked on improving the level of knowledge of the healthcare providers who are in the field of diabetes management and prevention especially due to the fact that diabetes is a major health concern both here in the MENA Region and worldwide and as per the IDF Diabetes Atlas , 537 million adults (1 in 10) were living with diabetes in 2021. This number is expected rise to 643 million by 2030 and 783 million by 2045.

Diabetes Comorbidities and Complications refers to the various health conditions that commonly occur alongside diabetes, as well as the potential complications that can arise from poorly managed diabetes over time. These conditions can significantly affect the quality of life and increase the risk of severe outcomes for individuals with diabetes.
